PCB based membrane switch instrument panels

 -  frontal instrument panels, implemented on the basis of printed circuit boards made from foiled fiberglass with a thickness of 1.5 mm. and higher.

With such a thickness of the dielectric, these keyboards can serve not only for its intended purpose - as to be meant of entering the information, but also can replace a front panel of the product case and serve as the carrier part of the design of the device for placing and mounting additional design elements (indicators, additional controls, boards, etc.). By this mean ensures the complete sealing of the front side of the product.

Main advantages:

They are highly resistant to vibration loads. It was often confirmed with high score results by using the end product in experimental field-tests. Thanks to the original design, membrane switching elements are securely fixed to the PCB holes and are not displaced from the contact pads under vibratory and impact loads;

Fri-ability of images is in a good condition throughout the entire life of the product ( the lifetime of the product is 15 years);

Resistance to aggressive environment (acids, alkalies), petrol, oil, solvents;

Resistance to disinfectants, degassing, decontamination solution;

Protection degree is up to IP 68;

Resistance to mold fungi, salt fog, solar radiation;

Minimum losses in circuits and minimal keys contact resistance by PCB layout performance based on copper conductors with special galvanic coating;

Provide the additional shielding to a device from both external and internal electromagnetic radiation;

Serve as carrier part of the construction and allow itself to place the components and elements of the final device, additional control elements (encoders, relays, switches, switches, joysticks, trackballs, indicators, TFT-matrix, control boards, etc. ...);

Allows one to place surface mounted circuit’s elements on, which is an important advantage when creating compact electronic modules.
